Simple Ways To Instant Perk-Up

Party-Time Glow Ideas:
1. If you get the time you may use fruit on your face. Mix a little papaya, tomato juice and 1 egg; apply on face and let dry and wash off.
2. For you hair, simply oil it and wash off with a conditioning shampoo.
3.Moisturise your skin with a glowing moisturiser after your bath.
4. For make-up, use kohl for your eyes to define them well, a little blush and lip gloss (in nude shades to match your skin tone).
5. Use your perfume matched to the occasion.
6. In your bag carry lip gloss, lip balm and a perfume.

Carry In Your Bag:
1.A foundation to keep your skin smooth.
2.A long-lasting lipstick.
3.Waterproof mascara that does not smudge.
4.Eye shadow, not too bold (cream-based for longer wear).
5.Tone your cheekbones with a light natural shade of rouge that suits your complexion.
6.A lip gloss to add sparkle on your lips.
7.A comb or brush (an anti-static one will keep your hair snag free).
8.A good perfume – good smells are an instant pick-me-up. Use a perfume that smells good on you.

Make-Up Must Haves:
1.Always carry a concealer (choose one that suits your skin tone, type and complexion).
2.An eyeshadow stick, preferably in bronze or gold will add glamour instantly. You can also use loose glitter instead.
3. Keep mascara or kajal handy to bring out your eyes.
A creamy nude lipstick or lip gloss completes the ‘starry look’.

Choose Your Make-Up Wisely:
1. Foundation: After cleansing, toning and moisturising your face, apply foundation that matches your natural skin tone for a smooth and even complexion. For normal to dry skin, go for liquid or cream base but if you have an oily skin, always choose an oil-free liquid base with a matte finish. If you have a combination skin, opt for anything that gives your skin the proper balance – neither oily nor dry.
2. Color Your Eyes: The eyes are the windows to the soul, and smoky eyes create a dramatic look. While choosing your eyeshadow, remember that it adds depth to the eyes. The simplest way to choose the right eyeshadow is to keep the color of one’s eyes in mind. Some colors that are safe and suit most women are navy or charcoal based shades. Dark blue and grey eyeshadows are great for a smoky effect while the hottest colors for evening parties are silver, gold, mauve and bronze in sparkly and frosted shades. To disguise puffy lids, avoid using pale, frosted colors and white eyeshadows – opt for soft matte colors.

3. Rosy Cheeks: Blusher adds natural color to the face and so enhancing and defining the cheeks. It highlights the cheekbones and adds warmth and color to the face. Here’s how you can choose the blusher that’s right for you: Bend down and touch your toes for 2 minutes and then stand back. The color of your cheeks at that moment is the right blush color for you, if aiming for a natural look. Math your lip color to the blusher. Generally, reds and pinks are for winters and night-outs while peach, beige and warm hues are day shades. Choose matte-based for oily skins and cream or gel based products for normal skin.
4. Lip Tips: Lipstick brings the other colors you have applied to your face into harmony. Choose darker shades if wearing light eyeshadow and vice versa but you can’t go wrong with fashionable nudes.

Keep In Mind: 1.Always remember to clean and moisturise you face before applying makeup.
2.Clean make-up brushes by gently washing them in warm water and gel-based shampoo. Leave them overnight.
3.Don’t skimp on makeup tools. High quality tools make application easier and faster.
4. If you decide to curl your eyelashes, do this just before applying mascara. Carefully align your eyelashes into the curler, squeeze just once, and hold for a few seconds.
5.Bacteria can begin to multiply in older cosmetics leading to infections. Toss anything that seems old, especially mascara and lipstick, and avoid sharing products with others.
6.If you are in a rush and realise that your foundation is over, just mix 1 tbsp water and 2 tbsp face cream into the foundation bottle and shake. Add gold dust or bronzer.
7.It’s not a good idea to use blush or lipstick as an eyeshadow or eyeliner if you have sensitive eyes.
