Covering Dark Patches With Make-up:
1. For covering dark patches choose a corrective foundation / concealer a shade lighter than your skin tone and for covering light patches choose a shade that matches your normal skin tone. When choosing foundations, concealers and pan-sticks test the shade by applying it on the underside of your wrist. You may have to blend 2-3 shades to get the right skin tone.
2. Apply the product with fingertips over the area to be covered. Pat it gently with a cotton ball and blend it in with a damp sponge. Let it set. Pat with a tissue to absorb any excess application. Apply setting powder or compact. Wait for a couple of minutes and dust off the excess with a brush. Finish it off with make-up as per your choice – lipstick, rouge, blusher or eye-shadow.
3. Choose make-up that’s designed to conceal pigmentation: Kryolan’s Dermacolor, Covermark’s Face Magic and Cover Cream Foundation, CoverBlend’s Concealing treatment Makeup and Multi-function Concealer and Vichy’s Dermablend.
