Lip Color:
Giving your lips the nude look is the best idea for office wear make-up. But some women like wearing colour on their lips, so for them use light shades like peach, browns or mocha, just the medium shades. Do not go in for beige, taupe or earthy tones, as your lips will look muddy. Use your lip colour and you can apply lip gloss over it, but don’t use shimmer. If your eye make-up is heavy, then complement your lips with a nude colour or just gloss.
Face Powder:
Application of powder is the last thing you do. Apply on your T zones to give it a matte finish. When you go out, use loose powder and carry a face compact with you at all times for touch ups.
Tips To Apply Make-Up In Seconds:
- Apply a face compact all over your face, blend it carefully. Then take a kohl pencil and apply it over your eyes in a straight line. Then take your fingers and smudge it, blending it to give it a smoky look. Apply mascara to open up your eyes.
- Now comes the blusher. Apply a light shade of blusher but if you are not carrying it with you, then use your lipstick. Put a few dots on the cheeks and then blend towards your hairline. If you are applying blusher, then also put some on your forehead and chin.
- Use a lip liner to keep the lipstick in place. But if you don’t have a lip liner with you, then apply your lipstick, then take a tissue, blot it on your lips, it is called a lip stain and this will make your lipstick last longer.
What To Avoid:
- Avoid harsh lines by blending. Soften eyeliner and avoid stripes on the cheeks. Apply lip liner but the lines should not be sharp, so smudge it a bit.
- Shimmer and sparkle look great for the evening and party look, but for office wear, its taboo. Keep usage of make-up to the minimum.
