Do a patch test of the product that you are interested in buying. Put a little of it on your wrist or elbow and wait for 24 hours to see if there is a reaction.
Allow perfumes or deodorants to your clothes instead of your skin, it is better safe than sorry and saves you the problems to deal with allergies.
Keep the product simple in the sense, buy a product that has fewer ingredients. If the products have fewer ingredients then it becomes easier to pinpoint on the source if you have any sort of reaction.
