Makeup To Conceal Signs Of Ageing

Camouflaging Different Signs Of Ageing With Makeup:

Dark Circles And Age Blemishes: There are many reasons for dark circles and age spots. It could be lack of sleep and iron. A good concealer will take care of this problem. The concealer should be a shade or two darker than the foundation that you are using. There are re known products available in the market which have excellent panstick foundations and they double up as concealers as well. Skin brightening powder too can be used to hide dark circles and give it a satin finish use cosmetics which have anti ageing ingredients like vitamin K, with willow herb extract, aloe vera and allantoin, to help reduce the dark circles. Another reason for age spots can be due to over exposure of the sun. Use cream which has SPF properties.

Dullness Of The Skin: When dead skin persists on the skin, then the skin gets dull. The answer to this is a blusher. Use a cream blusher to give it a soft look. Apply the cream blusher in an upward sweep from the apples of the cheeks to the temples. Use a product which diffuses into the skin, giving it a lovely tint. Your skin care regime to remove dullness does not have to be expensive. You can buy your products from a drugstore and benefit from a toner, cleanser and moisturizer.

Thin Eyebrows: Eyebrows change as we age and become sparse. Your make-up may look great but your eyebrows are either thinning or non-existent and that wont look good as you would want it to. Not a problem at all. Cover it using a matte, dark brown-eye shadow as this colour would look natural. The first make-up application you will need to do to fix thin brows is use an eye pencil to fill in your eyebrows. In short, light strokes, fill in any sparse areas with your eye liner. It will look like you are colouring in your eyebrows, and that is precisely what you are doing. But be careful to not colour the entire brow. Just fill up the areas that need to or else the brow will not look natural. Make sure there are no noticeable sparse spots. Do not draw definite lines with your pencil. Create an illusion with your pencil so that ensure that the strokes are short and the lines look like hair. Add some eye shadow or powder. After you have filled in the sparse areas of your eyebrows with your eye pencil, follow with some eye powder or eye shadow. Apply the powder over your entire brow using an angled brush. Apply the powder in such a way that it sticks to the pencil that you have used so that it will blend together.

Prominent Jowls: Jowl lines are sometimes called funny lines as they become more prominent when you laugh. To reduce the appearance jowls, that is the lines from the edge of the nose to the corner of the mouth, apply a light beige concealer carefully and blend it well into the skin. Use a highlighter to de-emphasize the shadow created by the jowl making it less noticeable.
