Beer: This sticks to the hair’s surface, thereby creating shine. Beer rinses meaning using proper brewed beer not chemical beer. it adds a coating to the hair, it is like a hairspray, and leaves a residue. The major component of beer is alcohol. Apart from that beer also contains magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, biotin and vitamin B. It has maltose content and all these ingredients are good for the hair. Beer is extensively used for the beauty of the hair. Malt gives strength and volume to the hair, biotin is good for hair loss while maltose and vitamin B add shine to the hair.
Botanicals: Plant-based ingredients that act on the hair, for example, rosemary is said to help greasy scalps. It is a combination of natural ingredients. Coconut: Shiny Hair. Coconut oil is one of the few oils that can actually penetrate the hair shaft making hair shinier and more supple over time. Look for shampoo, conditioner and leave in treatment that contain coconut oil for fast results. Because of the high Vitamin E content, Sunflower Oil naturally shields your skin and hair from the bleaching effects of the sun. According to experts, this is done by the micronutrients absorbing the ultra violet rays so that your hair and skin won’t. Look for leave-in conditioners and hair products that contain sunflower oil for maximum sun protection.

Chamomile: A flower used in shampoos for blondes, it can lighten hair.
Clay: This deeply cleanses the hair and scalp. It is used in shampoo instead of potentially irritating detergents. Clay masks is an excellent remedy for hair. The absorb the dirt and clean the hair. Clay masks are diluted with water to thick cream consistency and applied on wet hair for 15 minutes. After it is done, the head should be massaged properly and then wash the clay from your head. Clay comes in different colours with each having its own effects. The white clay is most effective.
Fruit Acids And Sugars: These boost shine and condition by changing the hair’s pH balance. Fruit acids has Vitamin B3, B6, Fructose and Glucose which helps give strength and shine to your hair. Fruit sugars hydrate the hair by drawing water from the air.
Panthenol (B5): This penetrates the hair shaft, causing it to swell and thicken. Also known as vitamin B5, acts as a penetrating moisturizer. Plumps and moisturizes hair shaft to make it appear thicker, reduces split ends.
Protein: Hair is made from a protein called keratin, but external proteins don’t enhance this. Instead, they coat the hair, strengthening it and creating thickness. Hydrolyzed proteins penetrate the cuticle and absorb into the cortex of the hair. Research has shown that as much as 30-50% of the protein found in shampoos is absorbed and retained by the hair. The percentage is even higher in conditioning products due to the absence of cleansing surfactants. Some amino acids found in many proteins are positively-charged, which causes them to be attracted to negative substrates such as hair and skin.

Vitamins: Other than B5, these don’t penetrate the hair, instead, like proteins they coat it, making it look thicker. Heavy intake of vitamin supplements, in some cases, have resulted in stimulating hair growth. Men deficient in vitamin B6 often lose their hair. When they are deficient in folic acid, some men became completely bald. Taking large doses of vitamin A (100,000 IU or more daily) for a long period of time, on the other hand, can trigger hair loss, but stopping the vitamin A will reverse the problem. As in case of deficiencies, often the hair grows back when the cause is corrected. B vitamins are important for the health and growth of the hair. Foods rich in B vitamins include beans, peas, carrots, cauliflower, soy beans, nutritional yeast, bran, nuts and eggs. Take a vitamin B-complex and supplement it with the following additional B-vitamins for best results. Vitamin B3 (niacin) – 50 mg 3 times daily. Vitamin C aids in improving scalp circulation. It is important to maintain capillaries that carry blood to the follicles.
Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5): 100 mg 3 times daily. Vitamin B-5, more commonly referred to as pantothenic acid, not only fights premature gray hair but also often tends to raise one’s spirits. As a moisturizer and conditioner in hair care products, it protects against and repairs damage due to chemical and mechanical procedures (brushing, combing, shampooing, perming, colouring, etc.), and imparts sheen and lustre.
Pyridoxine (vitamin B6): 50 mg 3 times daily. Pyridoxine is used in cosmetics and beauty products as a hair conditioning agent, and also has anti-static properties. It is most often used as an ingredient in bath products, soaps and detergents, cleansing products, shampoos, conditioners, and less often, skin care products. Individuals with high intakes of protein will need more vitamin B6 in the diet.
Zinc pyrithione: The most common treatment for dandruff, it slows cell regeneration on the scalp. Dandruff is a common problem for people all over the country, but it is also one that is very easy to treat in most cases. There are homeopathic ways to treat dandruff like tea tree oil or even aloe vera oil, but more direct methods are also available. It’s possible to treat dandruff with zinc pyrithione shampoos.
