Basil: Take a few leaves of basil and add them while making your morning cup of tea. It might change the taste of your tea, but it will help to soothe the throat.
Indian Gooseberry: Rich in Vitamin C, Indian gooseberry is known to help in building resistance. Eat it in vegetable form or as a preserve.
