Here is a four-step way of cleaning and replenishing your system within four months – one step per month. (This is not recommended for pregnant or nursing women.)
Step 1 – Cleansing The Colon:
Any cleaning programme should begin by “pulling the plug” that blocks the passage of waste.
A.Fibre:
Have high-fiber supplements (5 mg with juice or water for 1 month; 10-15 minutes before breakfast). They scrub the intestinal walls of debris that hinder intestinal function. Look out for those that contain apple and flaxseed fibre, guar gum, cellulose, larch arabinogalactan, fructooligosaccharides (FOS), citrus pectin, malic acid and stevia leaf.
B.Bromelain:
Is an enzyme found in pineapple that reduces colon inflammation allowing the fiber cleansers to work smoothly. (Take 1 capsule an hour before breakfast for a month.)
C.Gentian:
Stimulates appetite by increasing bile secretion and emptying the stomach. It also prevents heartburn and flatulence. (Take 1 ml half an hour before breakfast and dinner for 15 days.)
D.Black Walnut And Wormwood:
Are cleansing tonics that remove toxins, worms, parasites and fungus, reduces colon inflammation and prevent further clogging. (Take 1 ml 15 minutes before breakfast and dinner for 15 days.)
Step 2 – Replenishing Friendly Bacteria:
“Unfriendly Bacteria” produce toxic by-products while “friendly” variety, or probiotics, promote digestion, boost immunity and stop the growth of harmful bacteria. It’s crucial to replenish the probiotics to maintain good health.
A.Probiotic:
Take Mi-InLiven Probiotic Super Food (1 tsp blended with water or juice; in the morning and evening for the first 15 days) or Tri-Blend Acidophilus with FOS – a prebiotic that supports the proliferation of intestinal probiotics, especially the bifidobacteria – (1 capsule half an hour before lunch and dinner for 15 days). Jerusalem Artichoke (half an hour before lunch and dinner for the second half of the month) is another beneficial probiotic that reduces cravings for carbohydrates. Have curd to replenish the friendly bacteria in your system.
Step 3 – Detoxifying The Liver, Kidneys, Lymph And Blood:
Heavy metals such as mercury, lead, arsenic, nickel and aluminium that enter our bodies through food products, pollution and medicines get deposited in the liver. This slows down the liver’s ability to detoxify our body (the liver being the only organ that rids the body of toxins).
A.Modified Citrus Pectin:
Derived from citrus fruits, it interacts with blood and other tissue cells. It removes toxins, lowers cholesterol and improves immunity. (Take 2 capsules on an empty stomach in the morning for a month).
B.Cleavers:
A cleansing tonic to help remove toxins, purify the blood, the lymphatic system and kidneys. (Take 1 ml after dinner for a month).
C.Burdock:
Aids elimination of excess fluid, uric acid and toxins. It purifies the blood, restores the gall bladder and liver function. (Take 1 ml before breakfast and dinner for 15 days.)
D.Herbs:
A specific combination of herbs improves liver function. Milk Thistle or dandelion further stimulates liver and gall functions. (Take Liver Support for the first half of the month and dandelion or milk thistle for the second half; 1 ml before breakfast and dinner).
E.Organic Flax Seed Oil:
Enhances immune functions; boosts cellular energy for removing waste materials; and has anti-inflammatory properties. (1 tbsp with breakfast and lunch).
F.Alpha Lipoic Acid With DMAE:
