Various Tricks Used For Corrective Make-Up:
1. Eye makeup tricks (corrective makeup):
i. Deep Set eyes: With deep-set eyes the eyelid crease is set back so the area from the base of the eyelashes to the brow bone seems hidden. To enhance and highlight deep-set eyes. line both the upper and lower lids. Choose light shadows: pale pink, peach or beige. More intense shading on the brow bone also gives the eyes prominence.
ii. Narrow Set eyes / Close Set eyes: To open up the gap between the eyes and to make them seem further apart, remove a few hairs from the inner edge of the brow with a pair of sharp tweezers. Concentrate eye makeup colour on the outer portion of the eye and avoid applying colour to the inner part.
iii. Wide Set eyes: Pencil the eyebrows close to each other. Add a little shadow onto the bridge of the nose blending it close to the nose and stop at the centre of the upper lid. To make the eyes appear a little closer, start outlining the upper lid from the inner corner of the eye, bringing it near the nose ridge, leaving just the width of one eye in between the two eyes.Continue the line towards the outer corner but not quite extending up to it.
iv. Small Eyes: Pluck the eyebrows fine. Use a little shadow under the lower lashes as well as on the top of the lid. Blend the shadow on the upper lid from the centre outwards, curving it upwards towards the brow in the shape of a wing. Line both the lids, to increase the length of the eyes. Mascara both the upper and lower lashes, using two coats on the outer lashes only.
v. Hooded Eyes: Sweep a light shadow from your lash line to halfway up the lid or where a crease would be. Apply medium shade into your crease. Using a dark eye pencil or shadow, draw a thin prcise line along the upper lashes to give them definition. Highlight the brow bone right under the arch with a shimmery shade, to add lift and light the eye. Keep your brows on the thin side so there is more space between them and your lash line.
