  • The best way to enjoy spa vacation is by making plans in advance and going through a valid research before making any specific plans; so that you know what your vacation will be all about and will not get disappointed at arrival in expectation of something different. Your disappointment may cause the spa personnel to feel bad as well.
  • There are various spas which have different USPs because they specialize in different treatments, not all spas have the same procedure, apart from the general features that every spas are required to have. Therefore make sure that you understand the differences between he spas before choosing one, especially if you are choosing one for your vacation.
  • A destination spa is different from a resort spa, as a destination spa offers all the features of a spa experience, with pre planned programmes to tackle your health issues, where as a resort spa allows you to sample a bit the spa experience to relax you.
  • Do your research and look for photos on the website of the spa you are planning to spend your holiday in .Make sure you research all the facilities, including the number of treatment rooms present in the spa.

  • Expectant mothers should at all times avoid treatments that involve heat or otherwise raise body temperature.
  • Having a fitness class prior to having a massage treatment helps you as a good massage loosens the muscles after a work out.
