Corrective Makeup Tricks

Various Tricks Used For Corrective Make-Up:
3. Nose makeup tricks (corrective makeup):

i. Short nose: If you want to make your long nose look smaller, apply foundation, a shade darker than your skin tone, on both sides of your nose. In case you have a wide nose, apply the same foundation underneath the nose where the nostrils meet. This will make the nose look smaller.
ii. Wide nose: To minimize the appearance of a wide nose, the trick is to use vertical lines of light or dark tones to make your nose look narrower. There are two ways to do this, so you should try both to see which effect you prefer. Either you apply a lighter shade of makeup to the sides of your nose, starting from the top of your bridge down to your nostrils or you apply a darker shade to the sides of you nose.
iii. Big nose: Darker color foundation such as a bronzer can make your nose appear natural and smaller. If you have a wide nose, you can outline the top of the nose and at both sides of the bridge with dark foundation. Then with a blending brush, blend the foundation from your nose bridge down to the nostrils on both sides. This can help in making your nose appear narrow.

4. Forehead makeup tricks (corrective makeup):

i. For a low forehead: Apply a lighter foundation cream to the forehead to give it a broader appearance between the brows and hairline.
ii. Protruding forehead: Use a darker foundation just below temples, cover the eyelids and across the upper part of the nose. This will give an illusion of fullness to the rest of the face and give the forehead a smaller look. With a suitable hairstyle, attention can be drawn away from the forehead.
